Tube/pipe bending is a common method to form tubes into certain configurations to obtain a desired design, or a certain shape for a specific purpose.
This process allows designers and engineers the opportunity to create products to be both resource efficient as well as aesthetically pleasing. Whenever possible, bending a pipe instead of welding together two separate pieces is a time-saving alternative.
We have both manual and fully automatic CNC bending machines with left / right bending and fixed or variable radius position.
Tube bending – Example 1 Here’s a tube formed into a chair frame – to be used as a school chair. The product is bent in multiple directions and angles, with various radii of bend.
Tube bending – Example 2 All types of tubing can be formed, in this case an elliptical tube.
Tube bending – Example 3 Here, bending is done in a so called mandrel bender. The choice of machine depends on the product. Mandrel benders, dornlöst(mandrel free), fixed radius, manual radius – all options are available.
